The people across the street from me are listening to Marilyn Manson at an excessive volume. I didn't realize that there were people who still listened to Marilyn Manson, much less at such an embarassing volume. A volume that would suggest that they might actually take the man's music seriously.
As always, the Onion sums up my feelings perfectly.
