Panhandling in Target.

Jen and I went to Target today to register for baby shit.

As I strolled through the aisles with my bar-code-zapping-gun, following Jen with her list, I told her that I felt like we were panhandling to our friends for free shit for the baby.

She reminded me that sometimes people actually LIKE to buy stuff for other people.

As usual, she's right.

What we DON'T need? Clothes. My sister hooked us up with a RIDICULOUS amount of clothing. We seriously won't need to buy a stitch of clothing until she's ( at the bare minimum ) one year old. Shirts and onesises and dresses and pants and tiny pairs of socks and bibs and hats and it's fucking nuts. TONS of clothes. BAGS of clothes. PILES of clothes.

Don't buy us clothes. ( unless it's awesome stuff from tshirthell.com )

Also, could someone PLEASE explain to me why the hell no one at Ikea has decided that adding a gift registry would be a good idea? I mean, they have to be missing out on MILLIONS a year with this.

Other items of interest:

1. I saw Miranda Lambert on CMT today. Yes, she's hot, but she can also sing her ass off.

2. Saw Jack Ingram on CMT today too. He's clearly just given up. Calling him a douche would be too generous.

3. Also saw "The Hills" on MTV. ( it was a slow morning ) Why have I not been watching this jewel all along?

4. Chuck Klosterman's book "IV" is awesome.

5. I'm going to Minneapolis on Thursday with Lynn and Scott. Brian is flying in and Ryan will already be there because he lives there. Good times will be had by all.

That is all.
