Turns out, Jen's C-Section incision has developed a.....wait for it..............
STAPH INFECTION!!!! YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
This means she returns to Seton every day to have it cleaned, drained and then re-packed.
Delicious.
We also got rid of our jackass pediatrician ( along with his mouth-breathing, barely literate staff ) and now have a new, qualified, nice pediatrician who's office doesn't look like a typhoid ward.
Lily's gained weight, her stump fell off ( bluh ), and her tear duct got unclogged so her left eye doesn't look like someone blew their nose in it anymore. She's enjoying sleeping, pooping and screaming hysterically when she isn't fully clothed. ( a habit I'm hoping never fades ).
I carried her through Target last night in her sling and felt like I was in some bizarre National Geographic documentary.
One of my greatest worries was how Lucy would react to her, but Lucy doesn't give two shits. She occasionally tries to lick her head and always runs in the room when Lily's crying, but that's about it.
All is well.

I know the feeling about going to target. I used to take Gabby all the time just to feel like more of a dad. Then they start to run away and you really feel like a dad when you have to leave the store for a timeout with your child. Yeah fun.
