Our modern media assumes that you'll give a shit about a lapel pin.
They think that your opinion of someone's ability to lead the country is changed by who their friends, associates or their fucking PASTOR is.
They think that when there's no REAL dirt to dig up, that they can pass off the smallest detail of someone's life as "controversy".
And, by looking at the polls, they're right.
This is all so goddamn disappointing, even for a cynical bastard like me.
Meanwhile, the current president is
just soaring.
On a brighter note, please stand by for the greatest video ever. ( yes, it's my daughter and my wife and yes I expect you to feign interest )

interest feigned.
I just rolled about 250gb of video onto my Mac that is way less interesting. Yet I sat, rapt.
100% agree Michael.
Though I'm not surprised. When half way intelligent discussions go completely unacknowledged by media and the population, that doesn't leave much else to talk about. Obama's prior speech on race is the first speech I've heard in a long time that finally shows some politicians aren't afraid of talking directly to reality.
(that's a great video of your baby and Jennifer... say hi to her for me)
