Man, that's a cute baby/puppy! You've got a real talent for photography Michael; all of your pics are just fantastic. Every time I try to take a good photo it turns out either blurry, white-washed, too dark, or I happen to capture expressions or body language that is just not pleasant to look at. What's your secret?
My secret is to take LOTS and LOTS of pictures. ( These were the best two out of roughly 30 pictures I took of Lily and the puppy )
Plus, Jen lets me use her camera ( a digital SLR ) which makes a huge difference because you can shoot a lot faster, you don't have the shutter lag and, with digital, I can fire off 50 pictures and it won't cost me a fortune in film.
I also really like natural light ( I can't shoot with a flash for shit ) and I think the biggest thing working in my favor is I don't have any idea what I'm doing.
Jen has tried ( repeatedly ) to give me a crash course on F-stops and lighting and shutter speeds and all that stuff and I retain about 5% of what she says. ( she's a much, much, much better photographer than I am and she doesn't have to take 50 pictures to get 1 good one )
I think I need a new camera. Speaking of great photography, I was looking up one of my favorite comics writers (Warren Ellis) who wrote Transmetropolitan which is a story you'd totally love; it's about a journalist who is so tired of all the bullshit in politics and media that he sort of flips out. Among his journalistic tools is a disembowler, which is a gun that makes people shit themselves. Anyway, while browsing his homepage I came across a link to a site which hosts artsy erotica. Normally I'm not a hug fan, but there are some really cool photos here.

Happy Father's Day, honey. I hope it has been a great one.
Happy belated fathers day :) I'm going to clone your baby btw.

Here's link to a free .pdf of Transmetropolitan; the one in my previous comment didn't work.
