I thought he did a pretty good job of composing himself last night, and at the same time clearly demonstrating that he has more of his brain engaged than the part that controls involuntary functions.
I'm glad you sent this link, because I've been thinking the exact same thing. What I wanted was for him to hand Palin her ass. I'm still hoping that these guys will someday do that. Biden is highly capable of doing so - I've heard him in committee, and he isn't afraid to call somebody a dumbass. They do have to get elected first, but I'm hoping that, when they do, the handing out of asses will begin. We'll see. As I've said before, I'm a big fan of having the smartest guys in the room run the country.
All you have to do, bro, is go look at some of the comments that my early-college, church-going friends have made on my Facebook about last night's event to know why the smartest guy in the room can't act show that he is. And to be a little scared that this could all still go terribly wrong for us thinking people.
