The Roots have an album called "Things Fall Apart" and Toad the Wet Sprocket have a song called "Something's Always Wrong".
These two phrases swim around in my head at least once or twice a week and have for a good 5 years or so.
I've been eating copious amounts of boiled potatoes lately. It's some strange kick I'm on.
I find this not at all surprising. The very first time I saw that show I felt a twinge of pity for the "predators". Not that I defend preying on/fucking/whatever children, but it always seemed like such an opportunistic, overly-dramatic way to go about catching these people. And the cops on the show are fucking ridiculous.
The show's gross, for many reasons and, if I'm not mistaken, the guy that hosts it wrote a book.

The show is completely disgusting in so many ways, and the fact that it's so popular is disturbing. Yes, I feel these monsters should be caught and put in jail, but I have a problem with it being made into evening family entertainment. Television is just plain revolting nowadays, and the only shows I'll really watch anymore are Lost and Heroes (no telling how long they'll make the hiatus this time before I can see them again, but I've had that rant in my own blog.) SO, I agree...NBC dateline are creepy, moneygrubbing assholes!
How does it feel to be helplessly caught in the trap of perpetuating crap like that by indulging in watching it?
It feels fine. I think I've seen the show twice.
