poker

I'm playing fairly regularly again. Just online but it's calming to me. It's one of the few things that is really familiar and still interesting to me.

The idea of "the long run" is really appealing to me.

That's it.

Are you playing on stars? I recently began playing SNG's and am running 37% ROI after 33 games. Not a huge sample, but a good enough start.
Now if I could only control my impulse to play triple draw 2-7 and PLO eight or better!
I'm trying to find a home game in Boise. It's going to take some getting used to not being able to head out anytime I please to play at any number of casinos...

I'm actually playing at Full Tilt. They're the only site that makes a legitimate Mac app and the games are fairly soft.

I'm off my limit kick and I've been playing SNG's. It's easier because it's a finite thing. If I sit and play NL or limit ring games I just burn hours ( and I don't really have hours to burn )

Fuck a bunch of triple draw and I STILL hate playing Omaha.

Aren't there Indian casinos in Idaho?

No Indian casinos... Idaho specifically names poker as a game of chance, so there's zero chance of poker there in the future. Though I have found 4 regular games on www.k9poker.com. I will have to wait to see how they are when we get there.

Have you had any problems with cash-outs?

I've been playing on the same $50 for almost two years now. I've never cashed out of Full Tilt. Party was always a breeze and I never had any cash out issues with them. Jason's cashed out of Stars ( I think ) and I don't think he had any problems.

I thought it was tough to get $ into Stars now. Did you have problems?

I haven't had any problems, but I haven't cashed out in a long time. There was the issue w/ bank accounts being seized earlier this month:

Poker News

I'll have to give Full Tilt another chance; I just HATE their graphics...

So, Jason is playing like crazy locally again. He is also playing on Full tilt. Someone should call him and talk to him about poker...Aubs

I remember going to your apartment in Lubbock once, and we decided to go get lunch. You said, "Hold on," and played like three hands and made enough for the meal. You were my hero.

Woot. I scored $1150 in the last 3 days playing 1-2 N/L, so last night I treated Erin and myself to a night at NY NY, along with seeing Zumanity and then a late dinner at Gallegher's Steak House.
After Erin went to sleep at 4:00, I crossed the street and played at the MGM until 8:00 this morning, scoring another $450. Then today we went for Japanese, visited the pinball museum and topped it off with the three crazy-ass rides on top of the Stratosphere...

I am excited to be moving, but I am seriously going to miss the poker action and excitement of living here. I'm hoping there will be some consistent home games in Boise.

And Aubs, tell Jason to send me his screen name on full tilt and/or Pokerstars. I'd love to chat poker with him!
