I sometimes yell this at work when the dogs are completely flipping out and won't settle or be quiet and it snaps them out of their insanity about 95% of the time.

I wish I could do the same thing to Hillary Clinton right now.

Democrats have a really, really good chance to win the presidency. Admittedly, I don't think Obama's THAT much better ( or different ) than Bush ( 10 million optimistic college kids just felt their "spidey sense" tingling ), but I think it would be an improvement. That being said, Democrats could still lose. They could just keep fighting for the nomination all the way to the convention while McCain does some SERIOUS campaigning with no real competition, because Obama and Clinton will be so busy trying to discredit each other.

If Clinton loses the popular primary vote and the super-delegates come in and overrule that, then you're gonna completely piss off a VAST majority of the Democratic base. If she won the primary fair and square, then Obama's supporters would certainly vote for her, I have no doubt. But that's not gonna happen ( what with the Florida and Michigan re-count, re-seat horseshit )

I don't think she will ( or that Obama would either if their roles were reversed ) because what both of them REALLY want is recognition and power. ( not to mention both of their overwhelming sense of entitlement )

If Hillary gave a rat shit about the party ( or the country ) she would STOP.

If McCain wins, we'll be even more fucked than we are now, because in order for him to win, he's going to run far, far away from any of his moderate or "liberal" position and we will, esentially, be re-electing Bush.
