"Andrew gets up, we all get up, it'll be anarchy"

I'm really bothered by the new JC Penney ad campaign.

If you haven't seen it, it's basically just kids in ( what else? ) JC Penney clothes re-enacting scenes from "The Breakfast Club". It's not that it really bothers me that JC Penney is aping "The Breakfast Club" ( I'm sure John Hughes got written a fat-ass check ) it's that the target audience of 12 to 17 year-olds more than likely has NO idea that these are all scenes from a movie.

This, in turn, leads me to believe that the ad agency that JC Penney hired basically said: "We're completely out of ideas".

John Bender was my hero.

There, I said it.

You sorta look like him. Were you wearing fingerless gloves in that picture of you in your Camaro? Here: http://www.demontheory.net/?p=237

Alex and I were watching TV a few nights ago when it came on for the first time (for us, I mean). We both simultaneous threw our hands in the air and yelled, "Are you kidding me?!" Horrible.
