Is it just me?

Or does Victoria Osteen look like a porn star?

Two things are obvious about the "case" ( boy, do I use the term loosely )

1. Victoria Osteen is probably a HUGE bitch who did exactly what she's accused of.
2. That flight attendant is looking to make some cash.

( as an aside, I wonder if when asking themselves, "what would Jesus do", Joel and Victoria answered: "Fly first class" )

Also, is anyone at ALL surprised that John Edwards was fucking around on his wife? ( I'd bet my next paycheck that this is not the only "extramarital affair" he's had. )

What happens in John Edwards' and his wife's marriage is nobody's business but John Edwards' and his wife's.

Life is complicated. Marriage is complicated. Matters of the heart are complicated.

I have a reply, Tammy, but I think it's so long that I'll actually have to make a new post, and it will be forthcoming.

In the meantime, I want to make it really clear that I don't care who John Edward's is fucking or why he's fucking them.

I disagree with you that life, marriage and matters of the heart are complicated. I think they're very, very easy and what fucks all three of these things up is when we complicate them. And usually the easiest way to complicate ANYTHING is by being dishonest. I'm not perfect and I'm not judging John Edwards.

You're a wise, wise man, Mr. Mayer. And while I agree with you 100% that dishonesty IS the easiest way to complicate things, I still think matters of the heart are a messy business.

My lament was not aimed specifically at you or your post, hon; just generally yelled out into the cosmos in the hopes that the media and everyone else who finds these things so damn delicious will be caught off guard at the dinner table by my caterwauling and perhaps choke on their John Edwards souffle.

I look forward to your forthcoming post.
